Concierge at Old Course Hotel

Hi folks, Ralph here. Thank you for joining me once again on the Old Course Hotel Concierge blog.

Today I’d like to tell you the story of my good friend Hamish, the little bear who waits here at the Hotel for all the little boys and girls to join him.

His full name is Hamish Hamilton, and in the middle of the night he gets up, changes from his Hotel robe to this tartan trousers (he’s a proud Scottish bear and he likes to look smart), and walks the short walk from the hotel, along the 17th to Hamilton Grand, where he spent much of his youth with the original bell hop’s son. There he dances and laughs with all the other bears in town until daybreak, when they all run back to the special little boys and girls they’ve been given to so that they are there when the children wake up for breakfast.
